Theatre

I went to see Lenny Henry in August Wilson's Fences. It's a fabulous play. It's wonderful to see Lenny reinvent himself from his former self, and its fabulous to see a West End audience packing in to see a play with an all-black cast.

Films

I recently watched I Give It A Year — nice to see such an unconventional love story. After I saw Man of Steel at the cinema, I immediately downloaded Hans Zimmer's soundtrack to the movie. It's pretty epic stuff. Now when I walk down the street listening to it on my headphones I pretend that I am Superman.

Visual Arts

I went to Sou Fujimoto's Pavilion at the Serpentine Gallery. Extraordinary piece of art work and stunning to look at.

Books

I am reading A Midsummer Night's Dream as I'm going to be playing Oberon soon. I've done lots of Shakespeare's tragedies but never one of his lighter plays so I'm swotting up.

Television

Most days I've been glued to the Wimbledon coverage! I absolutely love tennis.
