CommentsColonel Martin Tweed, 55, a retired Army officer, surrendered to police nearly 28 hours after barricading himself in his country home following a row with his wife. Col Tweed - a gun collector who served in the Royal Tank Regiment - gave himself up as marksmen surrounded his 19th- century cottage in the village of Kennington near Ashford, Kent.
