Another match on BT Sport, another round of Michael Owen getting slated for his commentary.

On this occasion it was his comment on two-goal hero Memphis Depay that stood out from his all-too often mundane take on the action on the pitch.

The young Dutchman gave BT Sport's commentary team much to talk about thanks to two brilliant goals to put Manchester United ahead in their Champions League play-off first leg against Club Brugge after they conceded an early goal.

But Owen's stand-out analysis was a little bizarre.
