TONY ROMINGER, the Tour of Spain winner, pulled out of next week's World Road Race Championships in Sicily after retiring in the Zurich championship race yesterday. 'He didn't feel he could play a part in such a demanding race,' Switzerland's team manager, Auguste Girard, said.
